The varying nature of BornholmHere are some examples of what can be seen on a morning stroll or on an excursion when the bus has stopped.
Chicory (Cichorium intybus) could be seen in several places.

Hollyhocks (Alcea rosea) were found outside many houses. Most of the flowers had withered at this time.
But here is a fine stand.
Japanese roses (Rosa rugosa) outside the hotel in Rønne.
Figs outside a house in Gudhjem.
Nature varies much in this small island. In the south there are long sandy beaches as here at Due Odde.
Sandstone and limestone are found further north. This is near the fishing village Snogebæk in the east.
